- Network Design - Our team of certified and experienced network
engineers and consultants will work with you to properly design a
computer network that will meet all of your needs
- before you buy your first piece of hardware or software. Wolf Consulting, Inc. can save you time and
money by helping you specify and select the most appropriate computer hardware and software to meet
your computing technology needs and budget requirements.
- Network Installation, Setup and Configuration - We will setup and configure your servers,
desktops and laptops on your network. From setting-up computer hardware,
to installing and configuring network operating systems and application software, our skilled and
experienced Network Engineers will take care of it all.
- Training - To help you get the most out of your hardware, software and network investment, we
teach your employees how to use the new network hardware and software technology. Individual instruction is
available for those who prefer to learn privately, or group sessions can be conducted to train many
employees at one time.
- WolfCareTM Ongoing Service & Support - You will feel at ease knowing that that our network professionals are
ready to assist you. After the initial implementation, we will continue to work with you to update, manage
and maintain your network. When you have a problem - or opportunity - we will be there.
Wolf Consulting, Inc. takes a pro-active approach to
servicing and maintaining our clients’ computer networks.
Instead of waiting to respond to problems after-the-fact, we
like to work with our clients to service and maintain their
computer systems (servers, workstations and networks) on a
pro-active, regularly scheduled basis — to keep them up and
running, and performing at top capacity. This, in turn,
minimizes problems and down time, and helps maximize
productivity, efficiency, and your computer system
investment. We call this our “WolfCare
Network Service and Support.”

Regularly scheduled onsite service and support. We’ll visit your site on a regularly
scheduled basis and take care of
all of your computer needs – from solving problems, to making changes, to pro-active and preventive
maintenance, to strategic planning. Perhaps that means
one onsite visit each week, or maybe once each month. We’ll work with you to choose an amount of time and frequency that
makes sense.
- Monitoring. We pro-actively
monitor servers, desktops and laptops. When any significant
events occur, an alert is generated, and we are
automatically notified. Some examples include: tape
backup failure; disk image failure; unexpected computer
shutdowns; disk drive errors and warnings; low free disk
space; stopped Services; out-of-date virus definitions;
critical event log entries; power-related events; and
more! With this information, we are able to pro-actively
address the issues - thus allowing us to
prevent/minimize the problems, unexpected downtime, and
business interruptions that can occur if those issues go
undetected.
- WolfTrackTM IT Automation and Network
Management. Our
WolfTrack IT Automation and Network Management
Technology is a set of comprehensive tools for
keeping networks performing at their best. Our
scripting capabilities allow us to keep computers
running optimally (e.g., through regular defrags,
reboots, clearing of temporary files) and to perform
ad-hoc maintenance (e.g., Service Pack installations,
registry changes), as needed, without disrupting
business productivity. We install Microsoft updates and
critical patches more quickly and reliably than could
ever be done manually. Hardware and software asset
inventories provide up-to-the-minute information – for
upgrade planning, troubleshooting, insurance claims,
etc. Many pre-set and ad hoc reports are available. And
our clients’ in-house IT staff can access many of the
features through our User Portal via the web.

- As-needed HelpDesk support – via telephone, email and remote control.
Besides regularly scheduled onsite visits, we offer
“as-needed” HelpDesk service and support for your
interim questions and computing needs. For items that
can’t wait for the next regularly scheduled onsite
visit, support is provided by a member of our
HelpDesk & Support Team
via telephone, email, remote control, or onsite —
depending on what’s needed for the situation. Clients
can open a new
WolfTrack support case via telephone, via our
website, or via email.
